Hey there Lisa! So sorry to hear that you are sick. It is sooooooo hard to be sick and still take care of kiddos. I was sick for just a day this week and it sucked majorly. Hope that the kids stay healthy and that you recover quickly!!!! Take good care of yourself, as much as you can, when you are taking care of so many others.

I hate when I get sick. It is so annoying because shouldn't the world just stop for me? It never does.

Oh my goodness! I hope you get some rest 'cause I think that's what you need most right now. Baking? Well, I'll bring a bottle of Lysol or Oust to spray as I walk, pick up a muffin, hand you some juice as I hug, wipe, tuck in and dress a couple of kids, mop, sweep and throw a load of laundry in on the way out the door. :)

Keeping the discipline in your children is indeed a necessary thing, but keep it to a minimum or if you really need to do it. Sometimes a word of encouragement, pushing them to succeed on their own without much admonition from you would do wonders in your relationship with your children and their own self-worth.

Sorry you're sick again. Have you had your house checked for mold? These old Army houses can be hiding all sorts of things. I check our basement constantly because of our allergies. I can see where it's been wet before, but no mold yet.

Oh I hope you feel better ... allergies can be awful! Another idea ... Whooping Cough. My family had it last year and in my great effort t support my choices to not vaccinate and not hospitalize my children I learned that many adults suffer through whooping cough without ever knowing it. As the vaccination wears off as we age into adulthood (if it really worked anyways) and many, many people are carriers or you could get it from a recently vaccinated child. The cough can last for months and may not have the whooping sound as in children. Most doctors will not diagnose this because of the assumption that if you are vaccinated, you are covered! I can look for some info I found last year if you would like, let me know if you are interested.

I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling well and being you are near Lake Charles you might be allergic. I won't tell you what my 2 friends who grew up in that area say about it on your comments remind me and I will tweet it at you one day. Also I almost have finished my Christmas shopping.
